World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.
If the weapon's upgrade template is %, it will increase 3% of its previous damage for each time it is upgraded.
The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost rises with item's level.
Components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons to give them a stat boost or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades also have special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components are only available to equipment that has a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue level before the component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.
A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's used on (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of the equipment using less Upgrade Crystals than would be required to achieve the same level of upgrade using normal methods.
A boost upgrade is a way to modify the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by buying them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals per.
The player can have a maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of how much it will increase after a future reset.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process may be expensive, and there is a high chance that the item could become obsolete or even break if it fails; a failure to upgrade can destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the chance of failure. Certain upgrades also provide the player a bonus if they are reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing attaches. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways, and we suggest upgrading them to 15 levels whenever you can.
In the endgame you'll often discover that the best way to enhance your gear is by placing Glyphs. These are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded to level 15 and provide an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.
Glyphs, the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt with the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with a Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the glyph.
Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the many Glyphs, and there are some rare glyphs to be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.
Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be put on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus which will boost a specific set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.
Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, therefore it is best to place Glyphs in key spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Druids, for instance should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may also consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.
Leveling
The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is also known as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with a level that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level of item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.
Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or bought from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields some Technology Points. These points can be used to the upgrading of an item. When enough points have been earned you'll be able to claim your upgrade and also receive the bonuses.
When a player improves the equipment they have the original item will be replaced by an item that is new. This means that the same armor piece will become an weapon or shield once upgraded. upgrade item will come with a bonus of its own. This could be a problem, as it can make the item more expensive if you do not require it.
If the player has enough tokens they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that has a base of level 1 and totally different bonuses. This can be useful however it should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.
Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or swims like dolphins). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the max roll by 10 points. This item is extremely important in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of a non-upgraded version.
Requirements
The upgrade of items allows players to upgrade the quality of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets over ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of the item, and upgrading weapon equipment will increase the damage base and required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.
All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear that can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Every when you upgrade an item, it is given the chance to fail. The rate of failure increases as you go over the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can result in the item reverting to its original condition and the player having to pay for more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.
If an item is not able to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition, the item will lose any bonus it earned such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with the effect (for example, increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). The player is able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.
If an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost it will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is calculated each time an upgrade is made.
The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a standard equipment item might have 5 upgrades with a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade will require the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
